Description
Shield Maiden packs three separate grip zones into one barrel, built around two different grip styles rather than a single texture running the full length.
Up front, a radial no-slip ring grip gives you a fixed reference point for consistent grouping. The decorative Shield-Maiden mark sits just behind it and doubles as a second reference point, before the midsection picks up Shot's Siege interlocking grip — rated 3/5, firm enough to hold without being aggressive. The tail finishes in a simple ring-gripped straight section for anyone who throws off the back of the barrel.
It's a front-loaded, front-weighted barrel machined from 90% tungsten, finished in a Violet PCT coating — a coating only microns thick that reflects the tungsten's base sheen rather than covering it up.
Each set comes with Tao Carbon shafts with spring rings, Shield-Maiden small standard flights, and 35mm Viking steel points.
