Kensho's bomber shape is built short and stocky rather than long and slim, which suits a closed-in, 2-or-3-finger hold better than a full-length barrel does. That compactness is also what makes it self-correcting in flight — a shorter, weight-forward barrel has less length to wander off-line before it hits the board.

The barrel runs classic ring grips front and rear, rated 3/5, with Shot's trademark pyramid grip in the centre stepping up to 3.5/5 — a firmer reference point right where most players' fingers naturally settle. It's also a good option if reduced fingertip sensation makes a well-defined push point more useful than a subtle one.

Machined from 90% tungsten and finished in onyx black titanium, the Zen Kensho is designed and made in New Zealand.
