The Kite is Shot's torpedo-shaped, front-weighted entry in the Birds of Prey range — precision lathed with razor knurl cuts running in multiple directions, backed by Shot's pyramid grip pattern for a hold that doesn't rely on you finding exactly the right finger placement.
Where a lot of dart barrels lean on one grip style, the Kite mixes three — pyramid, ring, and knurled sections — rated 3/5 for grip overall, so there's texture wherever your fingers land rather than one narrow sweet spot.
The barrel is 80% tungsten, laser-etched in a feather-inspired "cinder grip" pattern that's more visual signature than functional texture, but ties the design back to the range's raptor theme.
